It is implied Emma Carstairs bought the car that is currently used at the L.A Institute

[Emma] "It's not your car"With that quote it's established it isn't Julian Blackthorn's car. It cannot be Arthor Blackthorn's car since he hates all mundane things and he never goes out. Diana Wraybirn has her own car. Other option would be that the Calve gave them the car which is very unlikley since the New York Institute does not have a car, they are always taking taxis or borrowing Eric's van, or the Silent Brothers pick them up in their horse carriage to the Silent City. So it's got to be Emma's car!
